Since I was young, it didn’t matter if it was pencil and paper, Lego, or play dough—if I could create, I was in my happy place. That feeling has stayed with me, and through ceramics, I’ve found a meaningful way to build, explore, and express it. I’m inspired by the simple joy of creating and a sense of playfulness, like the whimsical spirit of Pee-wee’s Playhouse. Ceramics lets me slow down, stay present, and turn ideas into something tangible. I love making pieces that are both functional and fun, and it means so much to know my work can bring a little joy, warmth, and happiness into someone else’s life.
